Tunisia starts ice hockey

Following on from Morocco and Algeria, Tunisia becomes the 3rd North African country to establish ice hockey. Tunisia currently has one small ice rink in Hammamet. Tunisian ice hockey is run by Paris player Ihab Ayed, and is looking for more players. If you’re an ice or inline hockey player of any level and of Tunisian origin, contact Ihab at Tunisia.hockey@yahoo.fr .
Notable players of Tunisian origin are former NHLer Ramzi Abid and Semir Ben-Amor from Finland.
